Note: This is from a notebook I have about Goldy. This info will be revised as I go along.

Goldina, Princess of Fairyland
Away from the modern world, in a slightly different dimensional plane of existence, a universe of magic known to its inhabitants as simply the Other Realm. This Other Realm was filled with many kingdoms filled with magical people and animals of all descriptions.
The largest of these kingdoms was called the Magical Empire, ruled by a witch-queen named Rosemary. Queen Rosemary was the grandmother of Princess Kathina, a half-witch, half-dog demon girl with many powers.
But this story concerns not the Princess Kathina, but a friend of hers. A friend named Goldina.
Don't worry. Kathina will be back in the story --later.
A kingdom near the Magical Empire was the Fairyland of the fairies. The kingdom of the fair folk was all light and happiness, the buildings of a glittery material that was stronger than any building material known to mortals or to most of the Other Realm, for that matter. Every color known shimmered in this rainbow land.
The people of Fairyland varied in size, from the tiny pixies and fairies that were about three inches high, to fairies of human size.
The human-sized fairy folk, especially, could hide their fairy appearances from humans. However, any human seeing the transformed fairy would still sense something "exotic" or "otherworldly" about their companion.
The ruler of Fairyland is Queen Kiara, a beautiful and very powerful fairy. When she was still a princess, Kiara ventured to the Mortal Realm, during which was known to the humans as the Meija Era of the land called Japan. While in this time-period, Kiara –disguised as Kaoru Kamiya, a teacher at a school of swordsmanship—met a young swordsman named Kenshin Himura (or, as the Japanese would write it, Himura Kenshin). The disguised Kiara fell in love with this gentle warrior.
One day, Kiara revealed her true identity to Kenshin, and invited him to her kingdom in the Other Realm. He agreed to go with her, and was astounded by its beauty.
Princess Kiara confessed her love for Kenshin, and to her great happiness, found that he loved her. Soon the two were married, and Kenshin Humura was gifted with eternal youth and immortality.
Not long after Kiara became queen, a daughter was born to the young couple. The infant glowed golden, her hair as gold as the sun. The royal priestess declared that it was a sign that the new princess was a Light Fairy, and that she would be a very powerful enemy against evil.
For her golden light, the fairy princess was named Goldina.
As she grew, Princess Golden would have many friends:
The aforementioned Princess Kathina (I’ll let her tell her own story, however.)
Flame: A Fire Fairy with a fiery spirit. She is one the most out-spoken of Goldina’s fairy circle, except for one other.
Jinshin: An Earth Fairy with a mischievous streak. He is always causing tiny earthquakes to make people fall down.
Marina: A Water Fairy. She is the gentle healer who is shy and quiet. She hates it when her friends argue and fight.
Breeze: An Air Fairy. She is flighty, and somewhat of an airhead, but means well. She can break up any argument.
Gust: Breeze’s younger brother, as mischievous as Jinshin. He likes to create miniature tornados to knock things over. Gust often teams up with Jinshin in his mischief.
Calypso: A Music Fairy that speaks with a Cajun accent. She is often the voice of reason in Goldina’s fairy group.
Liona: A Jungle Fairy with power over any animal. She is the wisdom of the animals and can summon any animal at will.
Leather: A Street Fairy. No one knows what kind of fairy she was before she went to the darker streets of Fairyland. Along with Flame, Leather is a very out-spoken fairy, not afraid to speak her mind –or get into a melee.
Goldina –known as “Goldy” to her friends—is also fond of her grandmother, simply known as “Grandma Fae”. Grandma Fae has a special talent that everyone in Fairyland appreciates: She can literally “knit” wire into powerful, fairy armor.
Any metal will do, although the best comes from Fairyland. Once made into wire by Fairyland metalworkers, Grandma Fae will knit the wire as if it were yarn. The resulting garment is strong, fairy armor, sometimes referred to as “knit armor”. This “knit armor” can be given other powers, such as healing, or forcefield creation, or directional compass. A favorite of fairies that go out into the mortal world like to use as spell that hides weaponry inside the armor, as well as a spell that hides the armor from all detection.
(More will be added later.)
